WHPF Projects:
My interest in the WHPF is focused on encouraging residents to become more involved in the Orthopaedic PAC and other advocacy issues. I hope to do this from a grassroots perspective by utilizing the internet, email, and new technology which young residents and attendings are adept at using, making involvement easy and rewarding. This is my first year as a fellow and am working on a national resident organization to focus on vital resident issues, hoping that their experience of working in such an organization can encourage them to participate in similar activities involving advocacy.
