Doctors for Medical Liability Reform
The AAOS is deeply concerned about skyrocketing medical liability insurance costs and its effect on patient access to care. Doctors across the country are moving away, retiring early or limiting services in order to avoid exorbitant medical liability premiums. What it comes down to is that if doctors can't get insurance, patients can't get care.
Meaningful tort reform is the solution. The AAOS is fighting this battle on both the federal and state fronts.
