AAOS Research Symposia: AAOS/ORS Molecular Biology and Therapeutics in Musculoskeletal Oncology (MBTMO)

• Participants: Orthopaedic surgeons, researchers, Young Investigators, industry representatives, and other medical specialties involved in translational and basic research on primary and secondary musculoskeletal tumors (by invitation only).
• Purpose of Symposium: The MBTMO symposium will strive to improve our ability to utilize targeted therapies in the future and identify imminently available tissue engineering techniques that could be used to optimize limb salvage reconstructions, as well as address the present state of musculoskeletal oncology and the emerging areas that could have an impact on the field, develop a consensus on future areas of research, and address strategies for the quick translation of basic research to patient care.
