International Affiliate Membership

Our International Affiliate Membership is for orthopaedic surgeons who are practicing outside of the United States. We invite you to join orthopaedic colleagues from around the world in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. We are currently accepting applications for the Class of 2012. The membership year begins April 1^st.

The annual membership fee for International Affiliate Membership is $450. Benefits provided to International Members have a combined value of over $1,000 and include:

Requirements

• International Affiliate Membership is available to all Orthopaedic Surgeons practicing outside of the United States.
• Applicants must be a current member of the national orthopaedic association of the country they practice medicine in. This must be indicated on the membership application.
• Membership is valid for one year and must be renewed annually. The membership year begins on April 1st and ends on March 31st of the next year.
• Applications must be accompanied by payment of the first year annual dues. Annual dues are $450 (US). Payment must be made by credit card (MasterCard, Visa or American Express).

Applications for the class of 2012 are now being accepted.

• By mail or fax: Download the application form in Microsoft Word format.
• Online: International Membership Application
• Former members: To rejoin the membership, you can reapply by using the downloadable form or the online option. The online option requires your username and password with us. If you do not know it please email Jose Oyola at oyola@aaos.org or call 1-847-384-4302.
