AAOS Complete Global Service Data is a book that details inclusions and exclusions for more than 1,5000 musculoskeletal procedures. Organized by anatomy, the volumes devote a full page to each CPT code. The guide also shows Medicare global fee periods, add-on codes, and modifier -51 exempt codes. AAOS Code-X
Code-X is a CD-Rom which serves as a comprehensive coding tool for physician offices. It can be uploaded onto a computer and can also be downloaded onto a PDA. The program captures all musculoskeletal codes inclusions and exclusions as well as cross-references for ICD-9 codes. Additionally, Code-X shows CCI edits for each code and also includes and RVU calculator that allows user to calculate payment rates. AAOS Now is the AAOS’s monthly magazine containing articles on a wide variety of clinical, health policy and practice management issues, including coding and physician reimbursement.
