Volunteer Opportunities
The heart of any association is its membership and the volunteers who give their time for the betterment of their profession. The AAOS is no different, and we’re pleased that every year over two thousand of our members donate their time and skills in various capacities ranging from formal committee work to building playgrounds for underprivileged children in the host cities of our Annual Meetings. This page lists various volunteer opportunities that we hope each of you will consider at some point in your career. Dr. James Beaty has also written an excellent article in AAOS Now that describes in detail how to get involved with a volunteer activity and what many of those activities are. These links point to some of the many AAOS activities that are always seeking new participants:-
