AAHKS issues call for abstracts
The American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) invites symposia proposals and abstract submissions for its 23rd annual meeting, Nov. 8–10, 2013, in Dallas. 2014 ASES Research Grant Award
Applications are now being accepted for the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES) 2014 Research Grant Award. The $20,000 grant is for basic or clinical investigations and is open to orthopaedic departments only; proposals must be in NIH R01 format and no longer than 10 pages. OTA Acute Orthopaedic Trauma Care Course
The Orthopaedic Trauma Association’s (OTA) first Acute Orthopaedic Trauma Care Course will be held May 4, 2013, in Denver. Designed for orthopaedic surgeons taking trauma call at Level 1–4 trauma centers, the course will focus on evolving topics for on-call surgeons, including timing of open fracture management, emergent versus urgent surgical cases, and tips and tricks for efficient fracture care. ORS seeks applications
The Orthopaedic Research Society (ORS) is seeking workshop applications, including the New Horizon Workshop, for its 2014 annual meeting, March 15–18, 2014, in New Orleans.
