AALOS invites all to luncheon meeting
The American Association of Latino Orthopaedic Surgeons (AALOS) will hold its third annual luncheon meeting at noon on Friday, March 12, in Salon 1 of the Vieux Carre Ballroom of Harrah’s Hotel in New Orleans. 2011 AOA-ABC Traveling Fellowship applications
The AOA is now accepting applications for the 2011 American-British-Canadian (ABC) tour. This tour will travel to the United Kingdom, New Zealand, and Australia in the spring of 2011. The application deadline is Feb. 10, 2010.

AOFAS announces new Visiting Professor Program
The 2010 American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS) Visiting Professors are Robert B. Anderson, MD (N.C.) and Steven D.K. Ross, MD (Calif.). The AOFAS Visiting Professor Program enables orthopaedic residency training programs to benefit from the professor’s knowledge and perspectives during clinics, lectures, and/or grand rounds.

AOSSM grant opportunity
Recipients of the Career Development Award (K Award) from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) are eligible for a $50,000 per year supplemental grant from the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM). The application deadline for the award supplement is July 1, 2010.
