2014–2015 AAHKS Health Policy Fellowship
The American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) is seeking applications for its 2014–2015 Health Policy Fellowship. The goal of the AAHKS Health Policy Fellowship is to provide the fellow with the requisite exposure, training, and skills to support health policy advocacy efforts of AAHKS. The 2-year program will provide exposure to the various legislative and regulatory bodies that affect members’ ability to render healthcare services to their patients. AOFAS Resident Scholarship Program
The AOFAS Resident Scholarship Program, open to PGY2 and PGY3 residents, enables orthopaedic residents to attend the 2013 AOFAS annual meeting, July 17–20, in Hollywood, Fla. ASSH abstract submission deadlines
The American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH) welcomes abstract submissions for paper presentations, resident and fellow conference paper/posters, e-posters, and international guest posters for the ASSH 68th Annual Meeting, Oct. 3–5, 2013, in San Francisco. Abstracts for papers and resident/fellow papers and posters are due March 4; abstracts for e-poster presentations and international guest posters are due March 25. HVO Traveling Fellowship
Health Volunteers Overseas (HVO) is accepting applications for 2013 HVO Orthopaedics Traveling Fellowships. The fellowship will provide funding for four senior orthopaedic residents to volunteer at an active HVO orthopaedic project for a period of at least 4 weeks. The application deadline is April 20.
