Scientific exhibits span the spectrum of orthopaedics

Want to know more about preventing surgical site infections in total joint arthroplasty? Looking for cutting-edge information about nanostructures for use in rotator cuff disease? Curious about whether physician-directed use of implants will have an impact on your medical liability premiums? You’ll find the answers to these and many more questions as you peruse the scientific exhibits in Academy Hall E.

A scientific exhibit graphically illustrates a study or a complex procedure. It presents substantially more information than a poster presentation, and uses audiovisual, interactive demonstration, or some other type of enhancement in its presentation.

Scientific exhibits provide an opportunity for in-depth exchange of information, because the principal exhibitor is available daily through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to provide information and answer questions regarding the exhibit.

More than 85 scientific exhibits are on display, including special interest exhibits that have been prepared by AAOS committees and the Board of Specialty Societies. Stop by Academy Hall E anytime from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. (7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday) to view them.
