Residents featured in February AAOS Now
The February issue of AAOS Now (www.aaosnow.org), the Academy’s member newsmagazine, spotlights several resident-driven activities.

  • Eric Stiefel, MD, and Brian Palumbo, MD, authored an article about a resident-focused healthcare policy education program sponsored by the Florida Orthopaedic Society (“FOS Expands Grassroots Advocacy Program”). They’d like to see it spread to other states and residency programs.
  • Daniel J. Stinner, MD, has introduced a new column, “Research Defined.” The February issue looks at “differential attrition” in clinical research.
  • Craig Denlinger, MD, submitted the radiographs for the February “What’s Your Diagnosis?” feature.
  • Joseph Bernstein, MD, (not a resident) has a provocative “Sound-off” that proposes “selling” residency slots.
If your residency program takes an innovative approach to a topic, if you have a challenging case, if you have a research term you’d like defined, or if you want to respond to Dr. Bernstein’s proposal, AAOS Now wants to hear from you. Email aaoscomm@aaos.org
