Presenter Bio: Toya M. Sledd, MPH, MBA
Toya M. Sledd serves as the Clinical Quality Improvement Coordinator for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Her focus includes evolving issues and events in clinical quality improvement, performance measures, and outcomes measurement. Currently, she serves as the Academy’s representative to the AMA Orthopaedic Section Council, the National Quality Forum (NQF), the Ambulatory Care Quality Alliance (AQA), the Surgical Quality Alliance (SQA), and the AMA-convenened Physician Consortium for Performance Improvement (PCPI).
Ms. Sledd holds a Masters degree in Public Health and an MBA in Health Care Management from Saint Xavier University in Chicago, IL, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Fisk University in Nashville, TN.
