AAOS One-Day Part II Board Preparation and Review

Observer spots available only.
Mock interview presenting slots are sold out.

Focus your preparation and gain confidence for the 2019 oral examination!

Spend a day with Board Certified Academy Fellows to practice and build plans for your successful case presentation and defense. Understand Part II examination expectations through:

  • Video examples of case presentations
  • Discussion with questions and answers
  • Faculty instruction on case presentation
  • Tips on presenting complication cases

Attend as an Observer!
Observing participants sit in on the overview lectures and watch as peers present real patient cases in simulated mock oral sessions. Listen to faculty's feedback and critiques and observe various questioning styles. Make note of common mistakes and formulate ways to avoid trouble to guide your own collection and preparation year.

The observer option is also great for those who aren't ready to present their cases or are not taking Part II in 2019.

Presenters will go through three of their own challenging patient cases. Case presentations are limited to 8 minutes. They'll bring supporting documentation, digital X-ray, MRI, CT and arthroscopic images. Observe as they receive constructive, unbiased feedback and critique from experienced faculty. Use these take-aways to prepare for your own Part II oral examination.

Not presenting in 2019? Join the preparation webinar on March 28!
