Begin by refreshing your fundamental knowledge in this evolving field with a review of anatomy, mechanics, pathology, and imaging. Each lecture is case-based and includes Q&A to answer your specific questions. Then elevate your approaches with an exploration of current techniques, including PAO, surgical dislocation, repair and resection, and more!

On day two of the course, more than 96% of your time is spent in a state-of-the-art surgical lab working alongside your world-class faculty. Use the open lab time at the end of the course to practice the skills you learned in this 1.5-day course!

The OLC provides a world-class clinical setting for physicians, surgeons and medical professionals from around the world to develop new skills and advance surgical skills. The spacious bio-skills lab is designed for hands-on teaching and offers the most expansive learning environment of its kind anywhere, including:

  • A large-format high-definition display with 80” LED displays and 30’ wide screens
  • A separate demonstration area equipped with three HD broadcast cameras, with one on a jimmy jib to enable overhead shots

Course cancellations are subject to the following refund policy. Webinars and Webcast registration fees are non-refundable (you will be notified if a replay is available to watch at a later date convenient for you).

Course Cancellation

The Academy reserves the right to cancel a course thirty (30) days prior to the course start date. Any person who has registered for the course will be notified by email at the address noted in the AAOS member database. A telephone call will also be made to each registrant for whom a number is available. Persons whose registration is received after a course is cancelled will be notified by telephone and email. Registration fees will be refunded in full. However, other costs incurred by the registrant, such as airline or hotel penalties are the responsibility of the registrant.
