Where to stay in San Francisco

From boutique hotels to majestic palaces, AAOS members have access to accommodations throughout the city. Individual hotel descriptions will be available when member-only housing opens on Aug. 16, but here is a sneak preview of the areas where hotels are located and the AAOS negotiated rates.

Civic Center
(Room rates: $146 – $257)

San Francisco’s widest street, Van Ness Avenue, runs straight down the middle of the Civic Center. It’s also the location of the city’s symphony, opera, and ballet venues, as well as the War Memorial Opera House and the Asian Art Museum.

Financial District
(Room rate: $276)

Ranked as one of the top four financial centers in the nation, San Francisco’s Financial District begins at Montgomery Street and extends east toward the Embarcadero. At the Embarcadero Center, you can find eight blocks of shops and restaurants.
