JOR celebrates 25 years of publication

By Brenda Frederick

This year, the Journal of Orthopaedic Research (JOR) reaches an important milestone—25 years of publication. The JOR is acknowledged as one of the preeminent journals for orthopaedic research, with a unique blend of articles spanning engineering, clinical, and basic science perspectives.

This special anniversary will be recognized in several ways. At the 54th Annual Meeting of the Orthopaedic Research Society (ORS) in San Francisco, a reception will be held on Monday, March 3, immediately following the first ORS business meeting, to toast the JOR and its quarter century of success and growth. Special invitations will be sent to past editors, deputy editors, and associate editors—more than 135 individuals.
