Adult reconstruction and tumor fellowship match
The American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS), in conjunction with the Hip Society, the Knee Society, and the Musculoskeletal Tumor Society, has formed a fellowship match for adult reconstruction and tumor fellowships. Applications for the 2011 fellowship year are currently being accepted from fourth-year residents. To register for the match, go to

Hand Surgeon-Scientist Award
The American Foundation for Surgery of the Hand, in partnership with the Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation and the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation, presents the Hand Surgeon-Scientist Award, designed to support young faculty members at teaching institutions with accredited programs in orthopaedic surgery who have demonstrated success in research by receiving extramural research funding—K08 or K23—awards from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
