Public service campaign warns of distracted-driving perils

By Terry Stanton

If you’re paying attention—to television, radio, or a certain electronic billboard in Times Square—you’re likely to encounter the Academy’s new media campaign to alert the public to the dangers of distracted driving.

The campaign, which was introduced during the 2011 AAOS Annual Meeting, is in partnership with the Orthopaedic Trauma Association and features a full array of media spots and print ads, along with a Web site with interactive tools and various outreach programs and resources for members.
