Lumbar interbody fusion spacer
LATIS™ from Globus Medical is an expandable lumbar interbody fusion spacer (
A) that is said to provide an anterior lumbar interbody fusion footprint through a transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion approach. The device expands laterally in situ, optimizing apophyseal ring engagement to potentially reduce subsidence. Once expanded, it reportedly creates a substantial single-graft chamber, allowing for a distinctively large fusion mass. The expanded implant geometry and slotted tooth pattern are designed to help resist implant migration. For more information, visit www.globusmedical.com

Versatile reverse shoulder system
The Integra® Titan™ Reverse Shoulder System (
C) is built on a platform stem designed to simplify the conversion of a primary total shoulder arthroplasty, or hemiarthroplasty for fracture, to a reverse shoulder arthroplasty, without the need to remove a stem that is well-fixed in the patient’s bone. The system offers fully interchangeable components, which allow all primary, reverse, and fracture humeral bodies to be used with either the press-fit or cemented platform stems.
