View Award-winning Residency Program Projects

Winners of the 2014–2015 OMeGA Core Competency Innovation (CCI) grants displayed posters at the recent Council of Residency Directors (CORD) meeting. CCI grants support a residency program’s efforts to effectively teach the six ACGME core competencies relevant to orthopaedic graduate medical education.

Intended to encourage a program’s creativity and innovative thinking, CCI grants (up to $20,000) support an enhanced educational experience and the formation of original projects. At the CORD meeting, the six 2014–2015 grant recipient posters showed detailed descriptions and graphic representations of their projects. Two programs (Montefiore Medical Center and Massachusetts General Hospital) also gave presentations highlighting best practices.

The posters and a brief description can now be viewed on OMeGA’s website (www.omegamedicalgrants.org)
