Spinal fixation system
Zimmer Biomet's Vital™ Spinal Fixation System implants are noncervical spinal fixation devices intended for posterior pedicle screw fixation (T1S2/ilium), posterior hook fixation (T1L5), or anterolateral fixation (T8L5). Pedicle screw fixation is indicated for skeletally mature patients and for adolescent patients. Fibula pin system
IntraFuse's FlexThread™ Fibula Pin System is designed to provide percutaneous fixation of distal fibula fractures, primarily Danis-Weber B type fractures, or trans-syndesmotic fractures. The distal end of the implant is a flexible, intramedullary screw and the proximal end is a rigid, high-strength intramedullary rod. Once the implant is inserted into the fibula, the rigid rod portion of the implant reportedly spans and supports the fracture while the flexible screw portion bends as needed to thread into the intramedullary canal. The FlexThread Fibula Pin is compatible with either screw or flexible fixation of the syndesmosis joint, and is available in three different screw diameters, each with two length options. Multi-axial correction system
DePuy Synthes's Maxframe Multi-Axial Correction System is a computer-assisted circular ring fixation device intended for external fixation of fracture long bones and bones of the foot, limb lengthening, and deformity correction in adults and in children and adolescents in whom the growth plates have fused or will not be crossed with hardware. The system can also be utilized to treat soft tissue contractures.
