A few ways to limit the amount of ulnar deviation on the forehand stroke may be to lower the body more in a forward lunge position, and that will allow more leveling straightening and reduced ulnar deviation when making contact and then follow through without as much wrist rotation. This may reduce the risk to the ulnar carpal joint.
