The AAOS Board of Councilors (BOC) will hold its fall meeting in Dallas, Oct. 2-5. The BOC meeting will be held in conjunction with the Board of Specialty Societies (BOS) and will include more than 200 representatives and orthopaedic leaders.
The following are among the topics that will be covered:
- an analysis of the election landscape, moderated by BOC Chair John T. Gill, MD
- implications of hospitals employing orthopaedic surgeons
- a symposium on the Quality Initiative
- a discussion of the physician/industry relationship.
As always, open mike time encourages lively discussion of these and other topics.
