As Personify goes live, login changes
It’s not often that an organization as large as the AAOS changes its back office computer system. But new requirements for processing credit cards mean that this year, the AAOS is taking that step and replacing its 10-year-old association management system with a new system called Personify.
As a result, Web site usernames and passwords for all AAOS members and customers are changing. Web site logins are required to make any purchases and to access any password-protected areas of the AAOS Web site.
AAOS members should have already received detailed login information for the new system. In addition, a link to a tutorial with instructions for creating your new password can be found on the AAOS home page.
New login procedure
On your first visit to the site after July 12, 2010, you need to do the following:
- Request a new password by first clicking the Request New Password link on the AAOS log-in screen.
- Enter your AAOS member identification (ID) number (without the leading zeroes) and your e-mail address. If your member ID and e-mail address match the information that the AAOS already has on file, a link to create your new password will be e-mailed to you. If you need assistance, please call the Customer Service department at (800) 626-6726.
- Click the embedded link in the e-mail message to create your new personal password; your user name will remain your AAOS member ID number. Your new password will allow you to log on to the password-protected areas of the AAOS Web site.
