New AAOS webinar shares tips for navigating the fellowship match process
Are you an orthopaedic resident planning to enter a postgraduate fellowship program? If so, don’t miss the new AAOS webinar “Tips for the Orthopaedic Fellowship Match,” on Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, beginning at 8:15 p.m. (ET). Under the direction of Lisa K. Cannada, MD, the free program will boost your understanding of, and provide tips for, navigating the match process.
Faculty will include the AAOS Board of Specialty Societies (BOS) Fellowship Match Oversight Committee, fellowship program directors, current fellows who have gone through the match process, and a representative from the San Francisco Matching Program. The program is designed to give participants the knowledge and skills to do the following:
- Manage the fellowship match process
- Discuss the various types of fellowship programs offered
- Analyze the statistical information on the orthopaedic matches to manage the match process
- Formulate questions for conducting effective interviews with fellowship programs
Participants will also be able to submit questions via email during the webinar.
