The American Association of Orthopaedic Executives (AAOE) annual conference is a treasure trove of practice management information. Although this year’s meeting was held in May, you and you staff will be able to access up to 50 hours of content through a special, complimentary AAOS “Back to School Pass.”
As an AAOS member, you’ll be able to login to the AAOE Live Learning Center, using a special username (AAOS B2S) and password (AAOS2012), during the week Sept. 24–28, 2012. Once there, you and your staff will be able to access information and presentations from the 2012 AAOE annual conference, including hot topics such as “Opening an Orthopaedic Urgent Care Clinic” and “Understanding the Technical Impact of ICD-10 & Technology for a Successful Transition.”
You may find this information so valuable, you’ll want to sign up for AAOE membership. Membership in the AAOE is a bargain—just $325 per person, regardless of practice size. Membership isn’t limited only to practice executives; orthopaedic surgeons—particularly those in small practices or solo practitioners who manage their own practices—will also benefit from AAOE membership. Even billing and coding staff are welcome.
