Combined Orthopaedic Associations 2016 COMOC Congress
Every 6 years, members of seven English-speaking orthopaedic associations (the AAOS, American Orthopaedic Association, Australian Orthopaedic Association, British Orthopaedic Association, Canadian Orthopaedic Association, New Zealand Orthopaedic Association, and South African Orthopaedic Association) convene for scientific and social programming. Meetings rotate among nations, with participating associations serving as hosts. Next year, the 13th Combined Meeting of the Orthopaedic Associations will be held at the Cape Town International Convention Center, Cape Town, South Africa, April 11–15, 2016.
As a member of the Combined Orthopaedic Associations, a worldwide organization of professional orthopaedic societies, the AAOS encourages fellows to submit abstracts for oral papers and posters for the 2016 COMOC Congress—Developing Orthopaedics and the Super Specialists.
Abstracts may be submitted online (www.comoc2016.org) through Oct. 15, 2015. Abstracts must be no longer than 400 words and must indicate whether they are for oral papers or posters. Papers not accepted for oral presentation may be submitted as a poster. Presenters of papers must be registered for the Congress. Please indicate on the abstract submission that you are part of the AAOS.
Notification of approved abstracts will be sent at the end of November 2015, and presenters will have the opportunity to modify their submissions until Jan. 31, 2016.
