The Orthopaedic Political Action Committee (PAC) supports candidates for federal office who understand orthopaedic issues and help advance the legislative agenda of AAOS.

Midterm elections
All eyes are on the 2018 midterm elections—the entire House of Representatives and a third of the Senate are up for election, with the majority of both chambers on the line. This November, it is critical to elect leaders who support the orthopaedic specialty and its patients.

Registration is now open for this AAOS two-day event, which will be held Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 in Washington, D.C. During the workshop, physicians will learn how to run for elected office and play a role in healthcare policymaking.
