The Academy recently announced Tony Priore as the organization’s new chief marketing officer. Mr. Priore joins AAOS after five years as chief marketing officer at the Residential Real Estate Council (RRC), the largest affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS®.
Prior to RRC, Mr. Priore held senior marketing positions at several distinguished organizations, including Leo Burnett, DDB Worldwide, Citibank, and Experian Marketing Services. He also actively participated in three successful initial public offerings at Peapod, Yesmail.com, and uBid.com; earned numerous awards and recognition; and coauthored one of the first email marketing books for professionals, titled “Email Marketing: Using Email to Reach Your Target Audience and Build Customer Relationships.”

Mr. Priore earned both his bachelor’s degree in journalism and master’s degree in integrated marketing from Northwestern University. Mr. Priore has served as a board member of the Chicago Association of Direct Marketing and was an instructor for the Direct Marketing Association and the Chicago chapter of the American Medical Association.
