AAOS is pleased to announce the addition of two new toolkits to its roster: Upper Extremity Fractures and Shoulder and Elbow. The content available in the toolkits is a compilation of information from AAOS and other trusted sources. Each toolkit contains resources and tools to aid orthopaedic surgeons and surgical teams via clinician and patient education resources, quality-improvement and evidence-based tools, practice-management strategies, and advocacy and regulatory information.
Additional toolkit titles include Pain Alleviation, Surgical Risk Reduction, Total Hip Arthroplasty, and Total Knee Arthroplasty. Users can also search by domains, including Advocacy, Clinical Education, Patient Education, Practice Management, and Quality Improvement.
Attendees who want to see the AAOS toolkits can stop by the Quality booth in the Resource Center in Academy Hall. AAOS staff will be available to walk visitors through the features of the toolkits and answer questions about these valuable resources. Resource Center hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow through Friday.
