AAOS’ online learning tools, available at learn.aaos.org, provide a wide range of personalized programs and practice-relevant online experiences to meet your educational and continuing medical education (CME) needs.

Self-Assessment Examinations: Meet your need for SAE credits and test yourself
Need SAE credits? AAOS Scored and Recorded Examinations meet the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery Maintenance of Certification requirement for SAE. Discover the collection of Orthopaedic Special Interest Examinations (OSIEs), including the new 2022 titles: Orthopaedic Fundamentals, which covers anatomy-imaging, tumors and diseases, and orthopaedic basic science; Foot and Ankle; and Pediatric Orthopaedics. OSIEs offer 10 SAE credits per program. Ask for a demonstration of one of the specialty topic exams, or consider either the Orthopaedic In-Training Examination, new for 2021, or the Orthopaedic Knowledge Update 13 SAE, which both offer 20 SAE credits.
