Who to follow
In addition to following the Academy’s accounts (@AAOS1 on Facebook and Twitter; @AAOS_1 on Instagram; and AAOS on LinkedIn), check out the AAOS Social Media ambassadors and follow them on Twitter to capture their meeting insights.
What to post
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s “Guide to Writing for Social Media” recommends writing social media content that is relevant, useful, and interesting; easy to understand and share; friendly, conversational, and engaging; and action-oriented. Consider sharing your meeting photos or pearls and insights you gleaned from a session. Make sure to use the meeting hashtag, #AAOS2022, so your posts can be easily found and shared by fellow meeting participants, and tag AAOS, speakers, exhibitors, and friends when possible.
