Residents and Fellows-in-training can attend Practice Management for Residents and Fellows-in-training, a free half-day educational course specially developed to deliver content customized to their needs and career stages. Attendees will hear from more than a dozen faculty experts on various subjects chosen by residents as areas of interest. The agenda covers finance, practice management, and career management. Faculty will provide insights into appropriate coding practices, personal finance opportunities, and negotiating your first contract.
This year’s course moderator, Julie Adams, MD, FAAOS, has added a new feature to the course: “What I Wish I Knew When I Was You,” a session featuring a panel of four Fellows offering conversational insights on their personal experiences during training.
This course, scheduled for Wednesday, 12:30 to 5 p.m., in Room S404, provides a unique opportunity to network with faculty and colleagues. Attendees learn from one another through interactive question-and-answer sessions and enjoy a short food and beverage break to allow for mingling and connecting with your colleagues. Preregistration is required, and attendees can register on the My Academy app or at the Registration desk.
