2020 Call for Abstracts & Applications

Share your knowledge with orthopaedic surgeons from around the world at the AAOS 2020 Annual Meeting, March 24-28, Orlando, Florida. Nowhere else will your discoveries reach such a wide-ranging orthopaedic audience. 


Paper and Poster Deadline: June 3, 2019

Orthopaedic Video Theater Deadline: July 15, 2019

ICL/Symposia Deadline: May 1, 2019 - Closed

There will be a 30-day disclosure grace period for the Paper/Poster abstracts (June 3rd, 5:01 PM Central Standard Time thru July 3rd, 5:00 PM Central Standard Time) should you need to contact your co-authors regarding disclosure. This grace period applies only to disclosure only. During this time, you cannot make any changes to your abstract.  


All Instructional Course Lecture and Symposia applications in each of our classifications are welcome:
Adult Reconstructive Hip and Knee, Basic Science, Foot and Ankle, General, Hand and Wrist, Musculoskeletal Oncology, Pediatrics, Practice Management, Shoulder and Elbow, Spine, Sports Medicine and Trauma.

AAOS will continue with track education in the classifications below; and requests applications for specific Instructional Course Lectures (ICLs) within the Specialist and/or General education tracks. To learn more about submittal for a specific track, click on the classification button below.

Specialist: This track is meant to provide higher level education for surgeons who are specialists; and in their first 5-8 years of practice after fellowship as well as those further in their career with a specialty interest.

General: This track is meant to provide basic information such as tibial nailing, or primary THA tips, etc.

TechTalks (formerly Technology Theater)

AAOS is now accepting applications for TechTalks sessions at the AAOS 2020 Annual Meeting in Orlando, Florida. TechTalks was created to educate physicians and their staff on how rapidly evolving technologies can improve productivity in their practice. A total of sixteen 45-minute sessions (30-minute presentation followed by a 15-minute Q & A session) have been planned to take place in the exhibit hall. If you are interested in presenting at the 2020 TechTalks. Submit an Application. Deadline to apply is June 3, 2019.
