Orthopaedic PAC Resident Toolkit

Resident involvement is crucial in strengthening the stature and influence of the AAOS and the Orthopaedic PAC in the nation's capital. As residents, you are the future of the orthopaedic profession. Every orthopaedist has an important role in our advocacy efforts regardless of whether you are at the beginning or end of your career. Residents offer fresh new perspectives on the challenges we face and your involvement sets a strong precedent for those around you. Simply put, we need each and every current and future member of AAOS to belong to the PAC and our ability to achieve our advocacy goals will be unparalleled!

We encourage you to consider modest steps to get involved early whether through a nominal contribution to the PAC or educating your fellow residents on the importance of advocacy outreach. Consider contributing $25, $50, or $100 today. The success of the Orthopaedic PAC and AAOS' advocacy efforts cannot continue without help from residents, the future leaders of tomorrow. If you have any questions about the Orthopaedic PAC or how to get involved, please reach out to Stacie Monroe at 202-546-5041 or pac@aaos.org

Orthopaedic PAC Residency Challenge

We encourage all residency programs to hit 100% PAC participation as part of Orthopaedic PAC Residency Challenge. Programs that do get to 100% will be recognized at the Resident Leadership Reception at Annual Meeting. Please let us know if your program reaches 100% resident participation in the PAC by emailing pac@aaos.org.
