I already booked my hotel through the AAOS for the March 2021 meeting. Do I need to cancel my hotel reservation?
No you do not need to do anything. onPeak, acting on behalf of AAOS as the official hotel provider for the AAOS 2021 Annual Meeting, cancelled all hotel reservations made through them for the March 2021 meeting. No further action is required from you at this time.
If you made your hotel reservation through a channel other than onPeak, you must contact the hotel directly to cancel your reservation.
I made my hotel arrangements on my own. Do I need to cancel?
If you made your hotel reservation through a channel other than onPeak, you will be responsible for cancelling your own reservation and may need to contact the hotel or travel partner directly.

Do I have to use a credit card to book a reservation?
Yes, a one-night room and tax guarantee is required to secure each room reservation. Your credit card will not be charged by onPeak. All credit card information provided to onPeak will be submitted to the hotel over a secure server when housing closes on August 10. The information you provide will not be used, sold or rented in any way.
What if I want to reserve a Group of 10 rooms or more?

Will I get the same rates, service and availability on the Internet as I would if I booked my room through AAOS Housing?
No, onPeak takes the hassle out of searching for a room by providing the best hotels at the lowest price available over the AAOS annual meeting dates. If the hotel oversells, rooms booked outside of the AAOS block are the first to be relocated to another hotel, usually further away. AAOS provides complimentary shuttle transportation to/from the convention center (for AAOS hotels not within walking distance.) Housing representatives will be available at the convention center for onsite assistance. If you find a lower rate over the dates of the AAOS meeting, let us know at AAOS@onpeak.com.
Why is it important for me to stay at an AAOS hotel?
Staying in official hotel rooms helps AAOS negotiate reduced rates for meeting space, food & beverage and many other services/fees you or your organization would pay if you were not associated with the Annual Meeting.
I have not yet received my reservation confirmation e-mail. What should I do?
If you do not receive a reservation confirmation from onPeak immediately after booking, first check your spam, then let us know at AAOS@onpeak.com.
What happens if I forget to Change or Cancel my reservation before the check-in date?
Take time to read the cancellation policy for your individual hotel. If you do not make the necessary changes to the date of arrival or you forgot to cancel your reservation; your credit card will be charged a one night's room and tax “no show” fee by the hotel.
May I request the exact location of my room (i.e. high floor, away from elevator, etc.)?
You can enter your preferences under the “Special Request” option while making your reservation. The hotel staff will do their best (depending on the level of hotel occupancy at the check in date) to meet your needs.
What is the Refund Policy?
At the time of cancellation, the hotel will process your refund. The amount to be refunded will be based on the cancellation policy of the hotel. onPeak has no control over hotel personnel, equipment, or operations at the hotel and shall not be held liable for any inconvenience or other loss on the part of the hotel.
How do I get receipt for my hotel reservation?
After you have made your booking, onPeak will send you a room confirmation email. Upon check-out, you will receive a receipt from the hotel detailing all charges you incurred throughout your stay. If they do not offer, ask for it.
Do you provide transportation to and from the convention center?
Yes, AAOS provides transportation to and from the convention center starting Tuesday at 6:30am through Saturday at 6:00pm. There will be no service between the hours of 10:00am and 3:00pm. Hotels within walking distance to the convention center will not have a shuttle service.
