Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this course, learners should be able to:

1. Apply the differential diagnosis, treatment, prognosis of tibial lesions, hand lesions, sacral lesions, characteristic lesions, and soft tissue lesions to the young and adult patient
2. Recognize the most important features of bone, cartilage, nerve, muscle and tendon/ligament, normal anatomy and physiology, and abnormal conditions
3. Identify various essential traumatic and non-traumatic orthopaedic conditions and their non-operative and operative treatment
4. Apply the important diagnostic and treatment concepts in adult hip and knee reconstructions
5. Recognize the essential features of pediatric genetic, congenital, dysplastic, and traumatic conditions
6. Identify the important features of traumatic and non-traumatic foot and ankle conditions
7. Apply the testable systemic factors and emergency conditions in trauma care
8. Identify the essential traumatic and non-traumatic spine and hand conditions
9. Recognize the essential concepts in upper and lower extremity sports medicine
