Residents should attend this course because they will see the breadth and diversity of the entire specialty of foot and ankle surgery. In this singular specialty, residents will be able to manage acute trauma, reconstructive procedures, degenerative conditions, arthroplasty, sports related injury, and pathology, and developmental deformity - all in one area of orthopaedics.

The lively exchange of ideas and techniques is one of the fun parts of being part of the foot and ankle community. As a resident, I was really attracted to foot and ankle because it was fun to watch my attendings playfully argue with one another during case conference each week. That exchange of ideas still excites me, and I am looking forward to having residents to be a part of it!
