At the conclusion of this course, learners should be able to:

•Review the appropriate care and treatment options for common yet often complex fractures and injury patterns
•Apply different algorithms for the evaluation of common traumatic injuries based on diagnostic modalities and treatment options, with an emphasis on current concepts of surgical management
•Identify indications and surgical approaches for anatomic specific fractures
•Discuss contemporary fracture fixation strategies
•Manage post-operative care for the patient with traumatic injuries
