How has the AAOS helped you throughout your career?
Multiple ways from the beginning of my career, such as networking, finding fellowship, and practice opportunities. Lately, AAOS has been great place for networking and learning. As a practicing surgeon, the most helpful part is watching high quality surgical videos day before surgery.

As an Affiliate Orthopedic Member, which AAOS resources do you use most and why?
Education from reading journal articles to watching videos. Of course, attending AAOS Annual Meeting.

What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
“Don’t show up for the surgery without a plan,” by Dr. Richard Bowen, MD.

What’s your go-to productivity trick?
Stay focused and you can accomplish a lot.

What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
Trying to run the office and surgery on time so less waiting time for the patients and staff.

What hobbies do you enjoy in your spare time?
No question: golf. That’s one of the benefits of living in a small town. Less time on the road and no tee time needed.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself that not many people know.
I enjoy playing chess.
