How has AAOS helped you throughout your career?
AAOS has played a central role in my growth as a surgeon — from residency through advanced clinical practice. Its evidence-based guidelines, education tools, and research updates have helped me elevate the quality of care I deliver every day. It’s a resource I return to often to stay informed, engaged, and aligned with the highest standards in orthopedic care.

Which AAOS resources do you use most — and why?
The AAOS journal publications, surgical technique videos, and CME tools are my go-to. As someone passionate about precision and innovation, these resources help me integrate new techniques, critically assess evolving data, and offer forward-thinking treatment strategies to my patients.

Best advice ever given & from whom:
“Never treat the X-ray — treat the human attached to it.”
This advice was given to me by one of my early mentors and has stayed with me ever since. It reminds me that medicine is both science and story — and every patient deserves to be seen beyond the scan.

Go-to productivity habit:
I start each day by identifying three top-impact goals. It keeps my clinical focus sharp, my workflow intentional, and my patient care personal.

A habit I’m currently working on:
Practicing mindful transitions — learning to fully disconnect from the clinic and reconnect at home with my family.

Hobbies outside of medicine:
Running, weight training, tennis, traveling, and spending time with my wife Ellie and son Liam — especially discovering new places together.

Fun fact not many know:
I’ve authored nearly 40 peer-reviewed scientific articles, but I’m equally at home chasing my son on the tennis court or exploring the outdoors with my family.
