AAOS Annual Meeting has helped me make invaluable connections that have helped me throughout my career.
As an Affiliate Orthopaedic Member, which AAOS resources do you use most and why? Other than the Annual Meeting, I find the Orthopaedic Video Theater and AAOS Webinars exceptional resources to update my knowledge.
What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
"If things go wrong, keep calm and fix them. Getting mad does not help anyone," from an old mentor.
What’s your go-to productivity trick?
Be fully focused at work and relax and enjoy your time off.
What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
Skipping dessert, no matter how delicious it may look!
What hobbies do you enjoy in your spare time?
I enjoy being physically active, especially skiing, tennis and weightlifting. I also like cooking and perfecting my Italian recipes. It reminds me of where I grew up.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself that not many people know?
I'm a two-time national champion in Tackle Football in the Italian Football League. I learned three languages fluently by age 6 and have an interesting accent in each one.
