How has the AAOS helped you throughout your career?
The clinical guidelines, educational courses, and journals have helped me build a strong evidence-based foundation in orthopaedics. As a resident, having access to high-quality, well-structured content has made it much easier to prepare for cases, exams, and research. Just as importantly, AAOS has connected me to a global community of orthopaedic surgeons and trainees, broadening my perspective on how musculoskeletal care is delivered worldwide.

As an International Resident Member, which AAOS resources do you use most and why?
I often use AAOS online learning and webinars, especially the Orthopaedic Video Theater and journals. JAAOS and AAOS clinical practice guidelines help me quickly grasp the best current evidence and apply it to complex cases. Together, these resources keep me up to date and effectively bridge the gap between textbook knowledge and real-world practice.

What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
“To cure sometimes, to relieve often, to comfort always.” These words, voiced in the late 19th century by Edward Livingston Trudeau, the founder of the renowned tuberculosis sanitarium at Saranac Lake in New York’s Adirondacks, continue to express the enduring aspirations of our profession.

What’s your go-to productivity trick?
Alway plan ahead and stay consistent.

What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
Do some kind of exercise every day.

What hobbies do you enjoy in your spare time?
In my spare time, I enjoy watching sports, especially tennis, football, and basketball. I also love spending time with my three young children and my family, which brings me a lot of joy.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself that not many people know.
I play basketball with my orthopaedic colleagues every week, and I usually play center, but I am not tall enough for that position.
