Minimally Invasive Lateral Approach for L4 Vertebrectomy (Piecemeal) of Osteosarcoma
This video demonstrates L4 vertebrectomy (piecemeal) via the minimally invasive lateral approach for the management of an osteosarcoma. The patient history is presented with relevant imaging studies. The video demonstrates the procedure, showing the operating room set up, patient positioning, the surgical approach, piecemeal vertebrectomy, reconstruction with the use of an expandable cage, the postoperative clinical examination findings, and the postoperative radiographs.
