This video highlights the technical aspects of trapeziectomy with suture anchor suspensionplasty. Indications, contraindications, technical pearls, and potential pitfalls are discussed. Preoperative and postoperative imaging studies are presented. Historical results and outcomes of suture button/anchor suspensionplasty versus ligament reconstruction and tendon interposition trapeziectomies from the literature are presented and discussed.
