Mini-Open Distal Biceps Tendon Repair Using All-Suture Anchors
This video demonstrates our technique for mini-open distal biceps tendon repair with the use of all-suture anchors. Patient selection, surgical indications, perioperative planning, critical surgical steps, postoperative management, and postoperative rehabilitation are discussed. A mini-open anterior approach centered over the radial tuberosity is used. Anatomic positioning of the biceps tendon is achieved with the use of all-suture anchors placed on the biceps insertion site of the radial tuberosity. A review of the literature providing historical results and outcomes is presented and discussed.
