Late-Presenting Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip: Adductor Tenotomy, Arthrography, Open Reduction, and Pelvic Osteotomy

Management of developmental dysplasia of the hip detected after patients are walking may be a challenge. This video shows the manner in which an 18-month-old patient was treated via an adductor tenotomy, anterior open reduction, and a San Diego–style iliac osteotomy. Photographs and video of physical examination findings and preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative imaging studies are included.
