Case Overview: We present a surgical technique video on total wrist arthroplasty for pancarpal arthritis. Indications, outcomes, pearls and pitfalls to the technique are included as well as intra-operative video and image labelling.Method/Technique: We demonstrate and teach a step-by-step technique to total wrist arthroplasty for degenerative conditions of the wrist and hand. Included in the step-by-step technique are important structures and landmarks that the surgeon must be conscious of along with important pearls at critical steps in the procedure.Results: A review of total wrist arthroplasty in comparison to total wrist arthrodesis in rheumatoid arthritis patients as described in the literature will be discussed.Summary: We present a total wrist arthroplasty for pancarpal arthritis symptom relief technique video.
