Why did you join AAOS?
Because I have built my career in Orthopedics from an Ortho Tech to a PA with a CAQ in Orthopedic Surgery. I've been attending the Annual Meeting for almost 20 years, and I always get the most value from AAOS resources.
Do you currently volunteer with a committee? If yes, which one(s)?
The Annual Meeting Committee.
How do you define success?
Living a life full of gratitude.
Who is your biggest inspiration and why?
Tom Byrne OTC, he was my mentor as I entered the Orthopaedic Specialty, and I still use the information he taught me every day.
What do you love most about AAOS?
AAOS provides excellent resources all in one place for someone like me who practices general orthopaedics, but still likes to focus on my subspecialty of sports.
What advice would you give to new members of AAOS?
Get involved, ask questions, get the most out of your membership, and make us your tribe.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself that not many people know?
I also love to take care of my farm and completed a marathon.
