Case-driven sessions, interactive workshops, OrthoDome®, and Specialty Society Day — the AAOS 2026 Annual Meeting is your chance to sharpen skills, explore innovations, and network with the global orthopaedic community.

Education at AAOS 2026 offers more flexibility, choice, and a seamless onsite experience for every orthopaedic professional. Registration now covers Instructional Course Lectures, which are 60 minutes long. This gives participants the flexibility to choose sessions that interest them, at no extra cost. The program emphasizes practical, case-driven learning across all specialties, including adult reconstruction, sports medicine, trauma, spine, pediatrics, and shoulder and elbow. Additional sessions highlight surgeon wellness, leadership, communication skills, and mentorship, supporting growth at every career stage.

Attendees can engage in multiple learning formats to fit their needs. Hands-on workshops, Technical Skills Courses, and Case Presentation Courses provide interactive, practical experiences. Orthopaedic Video Theater and OrthoDome present high-caliber surgical techniques in a large-screen format, with many sessions eligible for CME credit. Innovation Theater presents live demonstrations of innovative products, services, and solutions.

Symposia and The Way I See It…® sessions feature panels sharing leading-edge research and candid perspectives on current issues. Flash Five® delivers hot topics in just five minutes. Ask an Expert and Showdowns® allow attendees to pose clinical challenges and debate techniques. Cast Chats, posters, ePosters, and poster tours highlight the latest research with interactive discussion, while Engagement Theater and Career Development Courses cover leadership, mentoring, advocacy, and professional growth.

Educational support is available at every level. Residents and fellows gain clarity and confidence through guided discussions and practical learning, while experienced surgeons exchange perspectives, refine techniques, and reconnect with peers. Medical students benefit from a dedicated program, multiple learning formats, and first access to the Medical Student Orthopaedic Exam to gauge their knowledge among peers.

Specialty Society Day on Friday gives attendees the opportunity to dive into focused sessions, connect with experts and colleagues, and learn about the latest advances and innovations driving the field of orthopaedics.

The AAOS Annual Meeting remains the premier place for the orthopaedic community to learn, connect, and advance together. AAOS 2026 takes place March 2-6 in New Orleans. Register by Dec. 7 to save with the early-bird rate.
